Chard was invited to exhibit at the Filberg Garden Show in Courtney B.C. in May of 2001. In 2002 Erin Chard joined a group of local artists to become an original member of the Fairfield Artists Studio Tour, an annual show that already has become a cornerstone in the Victoria art scene. She exhibited with Sarah and Robert Amos in 2003 for this event.

Interested in new experiences and happy to be in touch with other artists 2003 ushered in an exploration of oils, influenced by both Judy McLaren and Sarah Amos.

Erin lives with her husband on the Moss Rocks in the Fairfield area of Victoria. Her home has inspirational views of Fairfield and the straits beyond. It is her goal and her joy to paint works that lift the heart and delight the spirit. Her work can be found in local and international collections.
